Kumbhmela is the biggest religious/spiritual gathering in the whole world. It has started from last four million years, since ‘Sagar Manthan’ age.

For details please see Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 8 Chapter 6 to 12.

After a rigorous churn of the ocean 14 gems were discovered. As soon as Vedic Medical Science arose with ambrosia Jayant snatched it and flew thru the sky. Sky walking was normal in those days.  King Bali surrounded him with his air force, and Indra’s air force rose in the deffense .  A War broke out which continued for 12 days.

During the snatching ambrosia spilled out and fell down on the earth empowering those spots immensely. Then a teenage girl, the founder of a new Mohiniyattam dance tradition appeared. Her mesmerizing dance stopped the war. Beauty and love won over greed and violence.

She got an offer to distribute the ambrosia among all equally. She did very well.

12 celestial days are 12 years of the humans. So after every 12 years this global spiritual congregation is held, since then. Now, since last 2000 years Vedic civilization has been reduced to India only, therefore its international recognition has been disturbed.

The year when Haridwar and Prayag have mini Kumbha melas after 6 years, Nasik  and  Ujjainhold full Kumbhmelas. Round about ten million people gather up without notification.

In Vedic Hindu religion it is believed that lifetime , vocational  expertise , wealth , intellectualemotional/spiritual excellences  and time of death are pre recorded . Life is nothing but display of pre recorded DVD with serious mind boggling ups and downs which only an accomplished Yogi can change.

Favorable abundance of it is called great fortune. Unfavorables are called misfortune.

The vibrations  which are  composed by visiting Kumbhmelas with appropriate performances as we offer guidance to our students generate great fortunes, and often misfortunes are erased , edited and  substituted with new phases of fortunes .When you have risen above materialistic  pulling , pushing  and attractions then the same religious / spiritual performances in these power spots  enable you to meet an enlightened saint, or great  cosmic experiences automatically take place during your meditations.

Many spiritualists have found automatic cleansing of chakras , aura , perspectives and even the way of life.

It is said, even Mahavatar Babaji and thousand  years young  Yogis and astral and celestial beings roam around hiding in poorly, insignificant forms.

In Kumbhmelas  you can have the grand sight of the wonderful unity of different , diverse religious traditions, language , culture , dress , literature and philosophy. For which followers of monotheistic religions can do horrifying  violence , not able to tolerate anyone different  from theirs.

Here you see hundreds of different  faiths and  worship styles, and they are worshiping  with utmost peaceful  cooperation whereas monotheistic Christians and Muslims  kill, convert, rape and robe others and misconceive as a holy act.

Here the Hindus feed all , feast all , donate to all , help all ,  they share and enjoy the bliss of giving.

Kumbhmela  is a festival  of giving, expecting nothing  expect  love of  Bhagavan . They  announce in loud speakers  ‘’ Hi , everybody! come take breakfast , tea ,lunch , dinner , blanket , money , knowledge , shaktipat , clothes , take whatever you want”

So that God residing in all hearts would bless them, and their coming into Kumbhmela could be a success .

History tells us that kings of far west and far east and north and south used to come here and do charity , fire yoga , feasting and donation, offering so much that when they returned to their capitals they had only one dress on them, everything else they donated.

This is the glory and big hearted nature and dignity of Hindu Culture.

Let’s go and enjoy the Divine in the Kumbhmela  in Avantika Puri now known as Ujjain.

This Kumbhmela will take place in the summer. OM!
